Company Overview
The Head of Advice role manages the Financial Planning team for a national, well-established organisation.

The already successful Financial Planning arm is expected to undergo significant growth, this role will be responsible for driving this.


Role Overview
The incumbent will take a critical role in leading the advice team across multiple NSW offices.

The Head of Advice will act as a coach/ mentor to the advisers and support the team to increase the number of conversion of leads/opportunities.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Managing the team on a daytoday basis across multiple locations within NSW
  • Build and strengthen relationships within the internal business to build a strong referral network for the advisers.
  • Prepare annual budgets for the board.
  • Identify training needs and implement professional development to improve financial planning capabilities and client engagement activities.
  • Maintain highest level of compliance and licensee standards.

Skills and experience

  • Experience in managing a team of financial planners/ advice firm
  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications ideally ASIC accreditation
  • Membership of recognized Professional bodies
  • A passion for high quality delivery of ethical financial advice
  • Experience in business development and client engagement
