Then Alstom has the opportunity for you Come on board for the preparation and submission of Test Procedures and Test Reports for the X'Trapolis 2.0 Rolling Stock Project and work regionally in Ballarat or from Queen St in Melbourne.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead Technical Author Activity for the Validation and Routine Test Procedures and Reports
- Develop Test Procedure documentation with inputs from Engineering/Industrial Teams and obtain necessary approvals from internal and external Stakeholders
- Build a technical understanding of the Rolling Stock
- Manage status of Test Procedures/Test Reports in the review cycle with respect to the Train Delivery Schedule
- Finalise and Submit Test Reports per Trainset ontime at the required quality per the Train Acceptance schedule
- Support the redlining process during initial Routine Test Procedure development and integrate required updates
- Support optimization/continuous improvement of Test Procedure deployment with the T&C Team and integrate required updates and improvements.
Key Requirements:
- Engineering Degree (preferably Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent skills and competencies
- Inquiring mind paired with people skills to ask the right questions and get information from SMEs.
- Aptitude to learn and understand complex technical concepts quickly and a keen eye for detail to break down information into understandable chunks
- Proven ability of crafting documentation and procedural materials for multiple audiences
- Industry experience with a focus on engineering or mechanical industries, in particular rolling stock projects / content is highly desirable
