  • We are looking for a Manager to join our Corporate Development & Strategy team, which plays an important role in defining and driving the strategic direction of Macquarie's Banking and Financial Services Group.
You will be part of a high performing team that will see you partner with senior business stakeholders within the Banking & Financial Services Group and other operating groups within Macquarie.

  • What role you will play?In this role you will identify, analyse, develop, and execute the overall strategic initiatives for the Banking and Financial Services Group. You will analyse the competitive landscape in which we operate, solve complex business problems with your strong numerical and financial modelling skills and bring innovation to the business by way of products, processes, and technology.
  • What you offer 4+ years' of experience in a Strategy, Consulting and/or Corporate Development environment, preferably within the financial services or fintech sector
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills, strategic thinking skills and a growth mindset
  • An interest in financial services, fintech and adjacent industries
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent numerical reasoning and financial modelling skills
  • Experience in managing multiple workstreams and prioritising tasks to execute on key deliverables
  • High integrity and experience working on confidential/sensitive matters
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills to build strong relationships with stakeholders across all levels.
