The Materials Sustainability Manager will lead the Artarmon Materials service lab in the provision of best-in-class materials support to the global Weir Minerals business.

They will do this through the development and execution of the sustainable materials agenda.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead in the development and deployment of sustainable material solutions.
  • Represent Applied Materials Technology Group in global best practice and product forums.
  • Lead the laboratory team in delivery of materials services technical assistance to sales, marketing and operations.
  • Maintain Global Materials Database in TeamCenter to support engineering design and SAP.
  • Manage materials lab within assigned budget

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • Master's degree with 35 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
