ABOUT US AND THE ROLE
We are looking for a
Junior Dental Assistant to join our friendly team at Glen Iris Consulting. Located in Glen Iris, Melbourne, with public transport close by, minutes from the Monash Freeway and parking on site. The team of dentists are comprised of two Dental Oral Medicine Specialists.

The position is predominantly that of a Dental Assistant but there is an element reception/administration duties (training provided).

Some experience in Dental Assisting is required.

Position would suit a newly qualified Dental Assistant

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Your duties will include:

  • Welcoming patients
  • Making appointments
  • Assisting the dentists chairside with treatments
  • Ensuring that our dental equipment is properly sterilised and maintained
  • Processing and managing accounts

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Certificate 3 in Dental Assisting is preferred
  • Some experience in Dental Assisting is required.
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Be well presented, punctual, reliable and professional
  • Be able to multitask and adapt in times of high demand
  • Be highly organised with an attention to detail
  • Have a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Good computer skills

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
$ $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

Experience:

  • Dental reception: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Certificate 3 in Dental Assisting (preferred)
