About the Role:
WorkPac is currently in search of a Project Engineer to join our esteemed client's team, based in Jandowae. This position available for DI/DO from Brisbane or Gold Coast.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality assurance plans, procedures, and processes for infrastructure projects.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Identify and address quality issues and non-conformances, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Review and approve construction materials, methods, and procedures to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on quality-related matters to project teams and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in quality management processes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on quality assurance preferred.
- Strong knowledge of quality management principles, practices, and techniques.
- Experience developing and implementing quality assurance plans and processes for infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Valid Driver's license
