About Us
Gippsland Southern Health Service (GSHS) is a major provider of healthcare in the South Gippsland Shire. GSHS offers a broad range of services that meet the needs of a diverse and sparsely populated area. With two main acute facilities based at Leongatha and Korumburra, GSHS offers a broad range of specialist, general, acute, subacute, ambulatory, residential aged care and community services.

About the Role
Enthusiastic and motivated persons are invited to apply for the above position. This position is predominantly at the Leongatha Hospital site, though also could be required to work at Korumburra Hospital. Shifts include day, afternoon and weekends (no night shift).

It is preferred applicants have appropriate qualifications or are able to demonstrate a proficient knowledge of cooking/catering skills which incorporates sound food safety practices. The successful applicant will be required to provide a qualification in HLTFSE001-Follow Basic Food Safety Practices before commencement.

Staff have access to supportive staff mentoring, education and development programs. Salary Packaging is available for all staff. The successful applicant will be required to provide a current satisfactory police check.
