**ABOUT THE ROLE**:

- **Ongoing Full Time**:

- **Base salary: $77,098 + 11.5% superannuation**:

Our Building Maintenance team at Council has a great opportunity for a self-motivated, experienced and customer focused Building Maintenance Officer to assist in maintaining Council’s building portfolio.

Key responsibilities include:

- Respond to Council’s maintenance requests through Council’s asset management system;
- Completion of set programmed maintenance projects;
- Undertake minor reactive maintenance including repair, clean and / or replace Council’s building property, associated infrastructure, fixtures and fittings;
- Assist in the coordination and supervision of maintenance contractors and building projects;
- Inspect works and buildings in accordance with the Building Teams inspection requirements;
- Purchase maintenance supplies and raise purchase orders;
**ABOUT YOU**:
To be successful you will have:

- Proven experience in building maintenance, building project supervision and relevant trade certificate in carpentry;
- ‘Construction Industry Basic Induction’ training (ie; White Card / Red Card);
- Ability to use mobile computer devices and software;
- Understanding of Building and OH&S regulations;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Organisational skills, prioritise tasks effectively and work to project deadlines;
- Ability to work in a team and independently.
