Job Title: Senior Financial Accountant
Location: Perth, Australia

Position Overview: As the Senior Financial Accountant you will ensure internal controls, management of compliance and audit requirements, and expertise in analysis and commercial decisions to make this role your own.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for global entities
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on P&L and Balance Sheet performance analysis.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for the global entities, collaborating with regional teams to develop accurate financial plans.
  • Monitor performance against budget and forecast, identifying variances and opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage cash flow and treasury functions, ensuring adequate liquidity to support business operations.
  • Optimize cash management strategies to maximize returns and minimize risks.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, tax obligations, and transfer pricing policies.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors and oversee audit processes.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • CPA or CA qualification is essential.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Chartered experience or hands-on experience as a Financial Accountant
  • Advanced analytical abilities and strategic thinking.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in finance systems and Microsoft Excel.
