Due to rapid growth and new contracts the organisation requires the assistance of a Senior Financial Accountant for at least 6 months (fixed term contract).

Based in Brisbane CBD, with modern offices and a vibrant culture, you will love working here.
The Role Reporting to the Financial Controller.
the responsibilities of the role will include, Preparation of month end journals, accruals and prepayments
Preparation of month end reconciliations, including resolution and outstanding items
Maintenance of the fixed asset register
Preparation of BAS, FBT and Income Tax returns
Manage the annual Audit and statutory reporting process
Ad-hoc analysis and management reports
Interpretation and application of accounting standards About You The successful applicant will have/be, CA or CPA qualified with strong understanding of accounting standards, audit and statutory obligations
A high level or organisational skills and ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
A strong attention to detail and a high level, of initiative
Ability to work autonomously and as part of the larger team
Focused on process improvement and adding value
