DHSV is the leading public oral health agency in Victoria. Our aim is to improve the oral health of all Victorians, particularly vulnerable groups, and those most in need. We provide Victorians with quality oral health care through the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne (RDHM) and work collaboratively with other sectors to deliver oral health promotion programs to benefit all Victorians.

Duties:

  • Be involved in the development and implementation of our new traineeship model.
  • Actively assist in daily team huddle meetings.
  • Perform dental assistant role as required operationally.
  • Collaborating with our Senior DAs, assist with audits, onboarding/cross boarding, inducting new staff, guide trainees & visiting staff to the department.

About you:

  • 5+ years' experience as a Dental Assistant.
  • Certificate III in Dental Assisting.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (to be completed within 12 months of starting the role).
  • A great attitude towards staff training and development with fairness towards staff who are learning.
