Looking for an experience Financial Reporter / Market Analyst who is able to read and understand trends, working closely with Global Analysts and Investment Specialists to produce thought-provoking content to prompt both brand awareness and to inform clients of future market trends.

You'll be producing content across a number of different platforms for the paid media team to utilise but also be the face of the brand and producing targeted, educational material.


About the role:

  • Possess indepth knowledge of Australian and Singaporean markets while also having flexibility to cover US and APAC markets.
  • Produce reports on significant market transactions and corporate stories with a focus on Australia and Singapore, but also covering US and Asian markets.
  • Create and publish datadriven articles that engage different audiences.
  • Repurpose content from research reports into new formats, such as podcasts or videos.
  • Collaborate with the Insights team to develop new content ideas.
  • Stay updated with market news and trends and consider their potential impact on work.
  • Respond quickly to marketmoving events and release timely materials across multiple channels.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (Sales Trading, Retail Sales, Marketing, and Client Services) to identify areas where they can provide coverage or add expertise.
  • Create daily written reports on global market news across all asset classes on the trading platform.
  • Cover major market events with pre
- and post-analysis, including interview features and media comments as appropriate.

  • Develop relationships with key press contacts in local and international media to secure highprofile coverage for
  • Serve as a point of contact to answer media queries and give interviews at short notice.
  • Help set the agenda for key market events where proactive external press coverage is sought.
  • Present a professional and positive image of the department in all internal and external contacts and maintain constructive relationships.
  • Provide training and guidance to other teams regarding market analysis.

About you:

  • University degree in journalism or related communications field
  • Experience within journalism (financial/economics journalism strongly preferred)
  • Proven writing skills
  • Knowledge of SEO and best practices
  • An appetite to grow at a pace unlike you have never experienced before in your career
