Choices Flooring have an immediate need for a part time (with the view to full time) sales consultant (or even trainee sales consultant) to join our well establish team.

We are looking for an immediate start on Mondays and Fridays (9-5) and every second Sat (9am-1pm), but this could quickly shift to full time for the right candidate.

Customer service skills, an ability to grasp new concepts and apply those learnings(including computer skills) and a positive and engaging personality are some of the key attributes we are looking for.

Experience in any sales or customer service roles will also be of benefit.

Position Overview
The purpose of the Sales Consultant is to provide exceptional customer service in order to achieve
sales and gross profit targets.
You will also deliver an outstanding customer experience to enhance
the desire of the customer to purchase their flooring from Choices Flooring Port Macquarie
Responsibilities & Duties

  • Managing the Sales Floor
  • Maintain a high standard of store presentation
  • Assist customers visiting store by following standard sales process
  • Provide informed advice and solutions to customer's needs
  • Provide information about warranties, manufacturing specifications,
care and maintenance of product and delivery options

  • Carry out measures for customers
  • Produce accurate job costing for each customer order
  • Provide quote for customer and bring sale to conclusion
  • Developing Customer Base
  • Follow customer follow up procedures
  • Pursue all sales leads to completion
  • Set realistic sales targets and develop strategies to achieve these
targets.

  • Project Management
  • Order stock and book layers associated with job
  • Manage installation diary of installers work
  • Assist in managing preparation of floor covering and
despatch on day of installation

  • Ensure installations are completed satisfactorily
  • Sales Administration
  • Accurately maintain all customer data in database
  • Maintain Store Measure Diary
  • Maintain Customer Sample Register
  • Maintain Price Ticketing
  • Assist with Inventory Stocktake
Work Standards

  • Update new Customer Details into Bo S(Business Operating System)
when quotes and orders requested

  • Follow up customer enquires in a timely manner
  • Send out and follow up of quotes in a timely manner
  • Be punctual for measure and quotes
  • Fill out paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
  • Ensure job costing are accurate
  • Achieve required sales, gross profit and conversion targets
