The Opportunity


The role of the Teacher involves a broad range of activities that directly and indirectly support learning, including teaching, assessing, learner support, and administration duties & events which support the teaching section.

It also includes participating cooperatively in developing and implementing agreed quality improvement processes.

About you

You will be committed to keeping industry relevant and maintaining current knowledge to ensure your students are prepared to meet the demands of this ever-evolving vocation.

You have prior experience in both face-to-face and online delivery and are familiar with programs such as the MS Office 365 suite, specifically TEAMS, SharePoint, Forms, OneDrive, and Power BI.


To be considered for the role you will have:

  • Advanced Diploma (or higher) in Events Management or equivalent
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent
  • Minimum three years post qualification experience within the last five years in planning, implementing, and evaluating onsite events
  • Demonstrated commitment to maintaining professional currency
  • Comprehensive current knowledge of the Events Management industry with a strong understanding of current trends and technology such as EventsAIR and Padlet


Previous teaching experience in TAFE or similar tertiary educational setting and understanding of the diversity within the Vocational Education and Training sector will be highly regarded.
