About The Role

Each team member contributes to enhancing our members' experience. As an Insurance Specialist, you will be the go-to expert on insurance matters, with in-depth knowledge of superannuation insurance products, business operations, and change portfolio. Collaborating with key stakeholders, you will represent Member Resolutions to ensure a smooth and efficient implementation of all change initiatives regarding insurance operations and processes.

Day To Day Responsibilities

  • Act as the central contact point to offer expertise on insurance product processes and business operations.
  • Engage with other Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to assess the impacts of business or portfolio change initiatives.
  • Coordinate and communicate the overall impacts and interdependencies of change initiatives to the leadership team for informed decision-making.
  • Conduct data analysis across the membership database.
  • Support leaders and the business in implementing insurance initiatives, including coaching and hands-on delivery when necessary.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and driving enhancement opportunities.

About You

As an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, you excel in problem-solving and thinking creatively for quick solutions. Additionally, you are likely to meet the following criteria:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, IT, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Extensive experience in the superannuation and life insurance industry, with a solid grasp of business operational processes.
  • Background in change management or an analytical role within complex settings, preferably in a program/project environment. Understanding of end-to-end process design.
  • Demonstrated inclusive, collaborative, and engaging approach, with the ability to consult, facilitate, negotiate, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly developed analytical and organizational skills, efficiency in establishing and implementing new procedures as needed.
