About the Role


As the Recreational Activities Officer, you will drive the energy, engagement, and participation of residents into a range of social, recreational, and cultural activities.

You will also lead mental health and wellbeing programs which empower our resident's choices and independence.
- **Base Pay Range**: $ $32.82 per hour

Employment Type: Permanent Part-Time

Duties

  • Develop, coordinate, and lead activities tailored to meet the social and recreational needs of our residents, promoting their independence and enhancing their quality of life.
  • Evaluate and document the effectiveness of the programs, adjusting as necessary based on residents' feedback and progress.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in an aged or community care setting is preferred.
  • Ability to independently resolve issues and adapt to varying situations.
  • Exceptional communication and relationshipbuilding abilities.
