As a key support role, the
MineStar Sales Coordinator supports the Technology Solutions Specialists to execute and deliver on agreed MineStar Sales Targets.


Acting as a liaison with customers, the successful individual will utilise heavy machinery parts knowledge to articulate scope of work, while ensuring marketing aligns with CAT and WesTrac branding and maintains current product information.

Responsibilities include preparing quotes, managing purchase orders, overseeing job initiation, and collaborating on first-class installations.

The MineStar Sales Coordinator also manages the Sales and Opportunity Pipeline, triage Zendesk inquiries, and provides support for proposal and tender submissions.


Location:
Perth Precinct (Perth Airport, WA)

Roster:
Monday - Friday, 8.5-hour days

To be successful the following is required:

  • Relevant tertiary education in fields like science, business, commerce, or engineering; OR significant industry experience
  • Industry experience in construction, mining, or related fields, with operational knowledge preferred
  • Technical understanding of technologies such as Fleet Management Systems and Guidance Systems
  • Familiarity with Caterpillar MineStar Technology products is advantageous
  • Strong communication skills for cultivating business relationships
  • Adherence to safe working practices, particularly in mining and construction environments
  • Proficient time management and organisational abilities
  • Commitment to ethical conduct and professional accountability
  • Advanced IT skills, encompassing the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proven ability to establish strong business relationships through effective communication
  • Comprehensive grasp of administrative support functions
  • Attentiveness to detail and adept critical thinking for sales process analysis
  • Capability to collaborate within a team or work autonomously across various locations
