About the opportunity


A major focus of this position is to develop, optimise and maintain a robust quality assurance program, collaborate with senior management to establish quality goals, and ensure adherence to these objectives through appropriate monitoring systems.

Additionally, this role will be responsible for the administering, evaluating, and coordinating of OHS systems, as well as taking the lead on developing and implementing relevant OHS initiatives, structures, and policies aligned with relevant legislation and industry standards.


About you
You are a person who enjoys taking the lead and seeing your initiatives support the business strategy and growth. Quality and continuous improvement excite you and change management is one of your strengths. You will have a formal qualification in Quality/OHS and in-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.

You will have previous experience in a quality assurance/quality management role within the heavy industry, mining or steel manufacturing environment.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Competent in MS Office especially Excel.
