We need a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to help us reimplement and enhance an existing application for the construction industry. This role calls for adaptability, quick learning, and the ability to bring valuable expertise to the project.

Our developers play a vital role by suggesting efficient technical solutions. The key here is to think creatively and be well-versed in industry-standard development approaches.

  • You'll be part of a fresh team working on a brand-new application, keeping things straightforward with a Rails app serving pages to a thin client. Test driven development is standard practice here, as is top-notch, lightweight OO code.

Experience & Skills:

  • TDD
  • Demonstrable commercial full stack Ruby on Rails development experience (5+ years)
  • A track record of building advanced Rails applications that integrate with various third-party services
  • Proficiency with Linux, preferably in setting up Ruby on Rails in a Linux environment
  • Experience with relational data modeling and SQL
  • Experience in analyzing current application processes and implementing enhancements
  • Knowledge of Agile/SCRUM related development methodologies and technologies
