As a Cyber Crime Senior Analyst in our Customer Protection team, you'll play a key role in their mission to protect ANZ customers from scams and fraud.

This position entails gathering and analysing threat intelligence with potential customer impact, devising and implementing measures to bolster existing protection protocols, and streamlining Cyber Crime analysis through automation and optimization.

As a Cyber Crime Senior Analyst, you will:

  • Collaborate with Fraud analytics, operations, and investigation teams to comprehend trends in fraud and scams, conduct root cause analyses, and improve our detection and prevention measures.
  • Collaborate with ANZ Cyber Security teams, industry peers, and external cyber security communities to gather and analyse threat intelligence, specifically focusing on phishing and malware threats that endanger ANZ customers.
Prioritize actions to safeguard their financial security.

  • Automating and optimizing existing processes through tooling and scripting
  • Source and analyse fraud and scam trends to provide quality insight and actionable recommendations

Permanent, Full time What will you bring? To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: Experience conducting technical investigations and root cause analyses in the realm of digital fraud and/or cybercrime.

Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience dealing with tools and techniques for analysis of phishing and/or banking malware.

Technical experience with programming and data analysis on big data platforms Analytical and inquisitive mindset to continuously improve the level of insight surfaced.

Self-motivated and enthusiastic about developing skillsets and knowledge and sharing with others.
Strong communication, presentation and data visualisation skills You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
