Due to the growth of our business in the Southern Australian Region, we have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our Senior Leadership Team as Manager of Environment and Sustainability based in Adelaide, SA.

As the Discipline Lead, you will provide strategic guidance and support on a wide range of environmental and sustainability topics to ensure the delivery of Regenerative Infrastructure aligned with ACCIONA's Way of Working.

This leadership role is critical in driving our growing function and working with passionate stakeholders and leaders.

Key Responsibilities Lead and deliver outcomes consistent with ACCIONA's Environmental Management System (ISO14001) and aligned with ACCIONA's Sustainability Master Plan.

Manage and review pre-contract (Origination) Team deliverables, coordinating resources and expertise to support project pursuits.
Liaise with external stakeholders, including regulators, clients, industry bodies, and consultants, on strategic and operational environment and sustainability matters.
Review and audit active projects to ensure compliance with contractual and management system requirements.

Maintain a strong leadership presence through regular site visits, participation in project client and regulator inspections and audits, delivery of training sessions, and toolbox talks.

Lead and/or support the investigation and review of critical incidents, development of regulator responses, and creation of lessons learned materials to prevent recurrence.

Provide expertise and guidance on sustainability rating schemes such as the Infrastructure Sustainability Council IS Rating and the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) Green Star ratings.

Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability Management, or equivalent proven experience.
Infrastructure Sustainability Accredited Professional (ISAP) and/or Green Star Accredited Professional (GSAP) with onsite experience will be highly regarded.
