Signage Estimator

Woods & Co. are very happy to be partnering with a well-established signage manufacturing and installation business based in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. This forward-thinking relationships-based business is in a position where they're looking to grow over the course of the rest of the year.

They have opened up this estimating opportunity to potentially be a combination of either part-time, hybrid, remote or full-time.

What do you do?

• In this role, you will be responsible for scoping projects and preparing quotes from brief to proposal.
• Working on continuous improvement initiatives for products we currently manufacture and; project co-ordination and implementation.
• Procurement and arranging subcontractors, play an important role in supporting our sales and projects team.
• Stay up to date with installation timelines, manufacturing costs and industry trends to ensure pricing stays modern and competitive.

What do you need?

• Previous experience in the industry and a similar role will be essential.
• Strong computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Suite as well as Scoro and potentially other estimation software.
• Fantastic people skills and the ability to communicate with people of all different backgrounds and experiences.
• Ability to interpret architectural plans and technical drawings.
• Ability to develop sign solutions from conceptual drawings.
• Strong numeracy and computer skills to support the estimating function.
