We are currently seeking an
experienced Care Worker to join our supportive team at Bethanie Subiaco Aged Care Home on a
permanent part time basis to cover both
morning & afternoon shifts.


Bethanie Subiaco is a 112 bed facility that provides the full range of aged care services including dementia support, palliative care and respite services.


As a Care Worker, you will support our residents to improve their quality of life by assisting with day to day activities, ensuring safety and well-being is maintained and building positive professional relationships with both residents and team members.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess care plans, and ensure clients' needs are met
  • Ensure services (including food, laundry, personal care, domestic and interest) are delivered in a timely and safe manner
  • Ensure all personal care tasks (including toileting & showering) are delivered with dignity and respect
  • Ensure clients rooms and the facility is maintained to an appropriate standard

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community) or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well as a team and also independently
  • Must have access to a mobile phone to receive shifts via our Cascom service
  • Must be able to commit to a two day Corporate Induction if successful
  • Must be able to commit to training and buddy shift requirements
