Warehouse Supply Officer
It's not every day you have the opportunity to be in involved in the start-up of a new mineTo make your
mark and be there from the beginning. Well here is that long-awaited, unique opportunity to do just that - a
Greenfield mine in the Hunter Valley with all the associated excitement of building and being part of
something new.

The Maxwell Underground Project, owned by Malabar Resources Ltd has commenced construction with
production planned of up to 8 million tonnes of coal per annum. With a long life, the underground mine
targets high quality coal, with the majority being metallurgical coal.

Maxwell is now seeking an energetic Warehouse Supply Officer to join our Supply Team. This role will assist in
managing the warehousing and supply function across the Maxwell Underground Mine and the related
infrastructure The role will be based at the Maxwell site, 10 minutes east of the township of Muswellbrook.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

As the Warehouse Supply Officer, some of the duties will include:

  • Providing stock control for the warehouse facility.
  • Conducting stock takes.
  • Issuing of goods to store customers via direct issue and picking slips.
  • Receiving goods and checking against orders.
  • Expediting of stock orders.
  • Assist in the management of repairable stock items.
  • Maintaining stock storage locations.
  • Purchasing officer duties as required.
  • Assist with the coordination of transport and logistics.
  • Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles as required, including the use of forklift/telehandler.
  • Good housekeeping of the warehouse and yard areas.
  • Ensure security of assets.

Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated warehouse and supply experience in a coal mining environment.
  • Experience with the Pulse Mining Systems ERP is desirable.
  • Forklift operator's licence.
  • Australian Manual Drivers Licence. A Medium Rigid (MR) licence is desirable but not essential.
  • Have a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • Willingness to work additional shifts if required.
The position reports to the Supply and Warehouse Superintendent.
