We are seeking a motivated and energetic professional that is committed to making a difference in the lives of separated families.

AnglicareSA' s KidsAreFirst Parenting Orders Program supports separated families, children and young people in high conflict.

This role will work across the services for parents/ caregivers and children/young people in the program.

In all our services we aim to center the children's experience of separation and to improve the wellbeing of all family members involved.

Some after hours and Saturday work may be required at times.

What can you expect to be doing?

  • Providing initial intake conversations with parents / caregivers
  • Facilitating psychoeducational and therapeutic group work for children aged 517 years of age
  • Provide individual support for children, young people & adults involving childinclusive mediation process.
  • Undertake counselling, case management and family dispute resolution

What do you need to bring?

  • Degree in Social Work, Social Sciences or equivalent
  • Post-Graduate qualifications in social work, psychology, counselling, and/or family dispute resolution (desirable) or equivalent.
  • Demonstrable ability to work with families and children experiencing conflict, domestic violence and family separation, including skills in developing safety plans.
