In line with this, we are inviting expressions of interest for an Associate Technical Director - Asset Management to lead our growth in the civil asset management sector in VIC.

Responsibilities:

  • Focus on targeted pursuits and proposals in asset management.
  • Coordinate and oversee internal specialist teams.
  • Conduct cutting-edge technology-based investigations, condition assessments, and service life evaluations of major structural elements in infrastructure assets.
  • Manage inspection teams and projects to meet budget, schedule, and quality expectations, surpassing client needs.
  • Develop asset management strategies for service life extension or replacement, including cost analysis and value assessment.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to asset management project teams.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the integrity of asset management deliverables.
  • Lead and participate in bids for civil asset management projects.
  • Build and expand client relationships to grow Arcadis' asset management portfolio.
  • Enhance the client base and team of the Arcadis asset management unit to meet client demands.
  • Establish trust as an advisor within the asset management industry.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of engineering experience.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Proficiency in providing technical guidance to clients and stakeholders.
  • Experience leading diverse project teams.
  • Background in asset management consultancy for Australian infrastructure assets.
  • Strong report writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Client-focused mindset for building relationships.
  • Chartered status and experience with relevant infrastructure authorities.
