About the Role

As a Product Designer at Cashrewards, you'll be responsible for understanding user needs and business opportunities to help bring product experiences to life.

We are looking for someone who cares about their craft, pays attention to the details, loves solving interesting challenges and likes to explore the 'why' behind problems.


Your Focus:

  • Work across the entire endtoend design process, from very earlystage discovery and ideation to iteration and implementation
  • Deliver customer journeys, user stories, wireframes, and prototypes across web and mobile platforms
  • Deliver high quality, well crafted UI designs, ensuring user centred design processes and tools are used across all projects and deliverables.
  • Assist in gathering user insights, setting up research studies, conducting interviews, contributing to stakeholder workshops, synthesising results, and ensuring research and data are used to inform design decisions.
  • Create effective handover materials which clearly communicate how the design should look and behave throughout interaction flows and journeys (e.g. Design specifications, experience/interaction specifications etc)
  • Collaborate and work alongside a cross functional team including fellow designers, product managers and engineers to optimise the experience for how customers interact with Cashrewards.
  • Be responsible for anything that is released to the customer ensuring no design defects or bugs are being introduced to the experience.
  • Contribute to and maintain the Cashrewards design system Figma libraries, focusing on building smart, responsive components that meet accessibility standards, and that enable the team to work quickly and efficiently.
  • Champion the voice of the user, elevate design standards and create amazing experiences for Cashrewards members.

About You:

  • Previous experience as a UX/UI or Product Designer
  • A comprehensive portfolio of your own work showcasing your UX/UI design skills across product development, wireframes, and prototypes
  • Experience working across the endtoend experience design process
  • Experience working with or creating design systems
  • Understanding of experimentation and test strategies for optimisation
  • Advanced skills in Figma, Miro, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strategic, with strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • A passion for design thinking methods with a deep understanding and a high degree of empathy for the people who experience your work
  • Excellent facilitation, communication and collaboration abilities, a flexible and friendly approach to working with teams, and the attitude to always strive for the best outcomes.
