As our Mental Health Clinician you will provide contemporary, evidence based psychological support services to our clients based on the young person's mental health needs and goals.

If you are an experienced Clinical Psychologist, Psychologist, Mental Health Accredited Social Worker, Mental Health Accredited Occupational Therapist or Mental Health Nurse and you are passionate about improving the lives of young people, we want to meet you

What is the role

  • This is a fulltime 12 month contract, starting in March 202
  • Providing teambased care to young people with a flexible model of support that is not affected by Medicare limitations
  • Individual and group supervision
  • No weekends

You will have experience working with mental health and well-being across a broad client base, leading to the provision of inclusive and high-quality therapeutic services, with a recovery and strengths based focus.


About the program:


Enhanced headspace Services (EhS) is a nationally-recognised, Brisbane North PHN-funded program that provides team-based care to young people aged 12-25 years with higher-severity mental health difficulties.

The cohort of young people supported by the EhS program are likely to experience significant adverse impacts in their psychosocial functioning that require both clinical and non-clinical interventions.


The EhS model comprises of a Mental Health Clinician and Youth and Family Support Coordinator concurrently delivering individualised clinical and psychosocial (non-clinical) interventions, respectively, to improve clients' mental health and functional capacity.


Through the EhS model, an increased frequency and flexibility of client contact is possible, ensuring optimal intervention and progress towards positive outcomes.

This is a well regarded and exciting program that has been nationally recognised. The past two years of data show impressive client outcomes and high client engagement. You'll see significant positive change in the clients you're working with.


A range of on-site complementary services are available should additional supports be required, including Alcohol and Other Drug counselling, Dietitian, Vocational and Educational support and group programs.

The headspace team will work in partnership with Mental Health Clinicians to provide a comprehensive, wrap-around service for young people.

  • Clinical Psychologists, Psychologists, Occupational Therapists and Nurses must hold full registration with AHPRA
