A fantastic opportunity for a Testing Co-Ordinator to take your career to the next level with development opportunities and exposure across multiple project rollouts, based in Milton, QLD.


Fundamentally, this role is required to carry out the test of trains in accordance with the testing procedure and as per the delivery schedule.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Understand the customer needs and criteria and carry out the necessary actions and test procedures with rigor
  • Have a clear overview of the test planning of all the projects in the site to ensure it is aligned with site testing capacity/facility and escalate to the management when necessary.
  • Ensure deployment of correct and efficient Handing Over procedure by EPU Manager & test technicians.
  • Based on KPI review, follow up on Open points and Improvement actions with the Testing, Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality.
  • Ensure Interface and perfect working relationship with: PrTCM, Chief Operation, TVE, PIM, Industrial Quality, Production Line Manager, PrWM, PrQSM to achieve the testing KPI's.
  • Ensure that trains are fully tested and complete before delivery and in case of deviations (key missing parts) take appropriate actions.
  • Monitor and regularly update management & key interfaces about the progress on KPI'S of each project to reach the target QCD.

Key Requirements:

  • An engineering qualifications or equivalent
  • Relevant experience in Testing & Commissioning of Electrical, Control, onboard communications &/or network systems, ideally within the process, railways or factory automation industries or similiar
  • Experience in test Engineering (T&C Methods)
  • Be familiar with high risk activities in association with Electrical work and EHS requirements
