Commencing a staged opening in 2024, The Star Brisbane will bring a range of unique entertainment options, world class hotels, dining, bars, luxury retail, gaming and a state-of-the-art Event Centre, transforming how people will play, shop and socialise in the river city.

We are now seeking expressions of interest from
Hospitality Professionals looking for a F&B Supervisor position or Venue Manager position looking to be part of the opening team with staged start dates from now until August 2024


The
Venue Manager reporting to the F&B Operations Manager offers a unique opportunity to take responsibility for the operations of multiple food and beverage venues within The Star Brisbane.

This role will oversee the guest service's effectiveness while promoting this ethos within your teams. Creating a fresh, positive, and exciting environment where safety, flawless delivery, and execution of product excellence will be key.

You will understand the importance of working with The Star Brisbane's booking coordinators and VIP sales team to ensure events within your venues run smoothly.


What we will be looking for:

  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • High level customer service experience and implementation
  • Experience in managing multiple venues
  • Previous experience within a 5 star property


The
Food & Beverage Supervisor position is a hand on, leadership role which will assist in the effective running of F&B outlets.

The role will enable you to improve guest satisfaction by maintaining efficiency of service, general product and technical knowledge, and exceptional standard of delivery and professionalism.

You will oversee and assist F&B Attendants to deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring the outlets are prepared and organised to meet business requirements.


What we will be looking for:

  • Previous supervisory experience in a similar role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Accreditation in Responsible Service of Alcohol
  • The ability and knowledge to build rapport with a diverse range of guests
