What you will be doing:


The Tenders Specialist at Flo Energy will serve as the main point of contact for our broker and retail consultant partners, fostering strong, engaged relationships to enhance tender opportunities.

This role involves proactively managing tenders for electricity and gas, repricing as market conditions change to maximize conversion rates, and collaborating with the Sales team to expand Flo Energy's market presence and renewable energy initiatives.


Key responsibilities include:

Sales Support:

Conduct all activities related to third-party sales via brokers, reactive sales, direct sales, and marketing support, including comprehensive sales processes for corporate partners.


Relationship Management:

Develop and maintain productive relationships with brokers and sales channel partners, negotiating pricing and product details for customer retail contracts where applicable.


Market Knowledge:
Research and keep up to date with electricity wholesale market movements and news to achieve better customer outcomes.

Partnership Development:
Cultivate broker and sales channel partnerships aligned with Flo's sales and marketing strategies.

Performance Delivery:
Achieve KPIs and strategic goals through a deep understanding of Flo Energy's products and processes.

Customer Acquisition:
Support the Flo Energy Australia Management team, particularly the Channels and Partnerships Lead, in acquiring new customers.

Process Improvement:

Help establish and refine broker and sales channel management processes and best practices to ensure an exceptional broker and customer experience.


Ad-Hoc Projects:
Consult any other projects as needed to increase efficiencies across the Flo Energy brand.

Collaboration:
Work closely with legal, compliance, and operations teams to ensure an outstanding and compliant customer experience. At least two (2) years of relevant sales experience across the commercial and industrial energy retail industry.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate and create excitement through value addition.
  • A solid understanding of the electricity and gas wholesale markets as well as renewables and energy service products.
  • The ability to work autonomously and manage your own workload.
  • Selfstarter attitude with records of solid sales and relationship building achievements.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce (or equivalent CRM), Confluence, Jira and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, and Drive).
  • Interest in renewable energy.

  • Possess an understanding of crossfunctional processes and financial concepts related to sales and cost to serve.
  • Are creative and able to examine our practices and find new growth opportunities to explore.
  • Are experienced with improving sales tools and infrastructure to support the sales funnel.
  • Are techsavvy
