Bradfield is a senior secondary school within TAFE NSW delivering HSC and vocational courses with a focus on the creative industries.

The opportunity

This position leads the Business Services learning area within the College.

The Learning Coordinator works across the whole college community (students, teachers, parents, and external agencies) to advocate for and promote student success by leading a team and supporting academic programs in courses such as English Advanced, English Standard, English Studies together with English Extension I & II, Ancient & Modern History and History Extension.

The position liaises with the Learning Support team and assists with the student Career Preparation program which includes project work for Year 11.

The position also requires leading and driving initiatives that promote cross curricula learning in the College.


The position is an integral part of the senior leadership team which contributes to the development of whole school vision and values.

Essential requirements

  • Tertiary teaching qualifications and Stage 6 experience in HSC in any of the following: English Advanced, English Standard, English Studies together with English Extension I & II, Ancient & Modern History and History Extension.
  • Demonstrated innovation in an educational context, which may include learning support, student development, crosscurricular projects, projectbased learning, use of technology, student engagement, industry/community involvement etc
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting a diverse range of students encompassing welfare and learning.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in delivering programs/projects, working with a range of staff and students.
  • Experience in and/or detailed knowledge of TAFE NSW, Department of Education and New South Wales Education Standards Authority policies and procedures.
