The Role & The Team:

As the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer (D-CISO) the successful applicant will be a key leader in the cyber security team, providing functional leadership to an integrated team of internal and outsourced cyber security specialists.

You will be responsible to ensure that Airservices can detect and respond to emerging threats to our business and be required to shape our cyber investment plan to meet our strategic objectives and ensure cyber resilience is achieved and sustained for the enterprise.

You will provide advice to the organisation and broader stakeholders on global cyber security threats and mitigation strategies.
In addition, you will ensure compliance with Airservices and Whole-of Government information security policies and procedures.

The cyber security team has a customer focused culture which looks to find ways to enable the business to deliver services in a resilient and safe manner.

Position Description:
We are seeking an experienced cyber security leader with operational and technical experience looking for their next challenge.

If you are an experienced individual, who has a proven track record of leading cyber security experts working within complex IT and OT environment and like a challenge, then this is the role for you.

The successful applicant will have:10 years' experience working within cyber security and at least 5+ years in a senior leadership role (Essential).

Industry and academic qualifications in cyber security and be able to demonstrate a history of personal growth regarding maintaining your technical currency.

A focused technical and operational leader with broad industry experience, working in IT and OT environments (Highly desirable).

Professional security management certification, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or other similar credentials.

Working knowledge of cybersecurity technologies covering all elements of the broader digital ecosystem.
You will be able to articulate how you maintain currency of new and emerging trends.
Detailed working knowledge of Information Security Manual (ISM), Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and critical infrastructure resilience.

Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001, ITIL, COBIT as well as those from NIST, including and Cybersecurity framework.
