MGN Civil is in search of a qualified Project Engineer/Manager with a minimum of five years of experience in Civil construction.

The chosen candidate will initially work on a 6-month project in Innisfail, with potential for future opportunities through additional Project tenders.

The role involves overseeing the timely construction of projects according to design and specifications, ensuring high-quality work. Responsibilities include managing project budgets, progress claims, quality control, and effective reporting both internally and externally. It is crucial for the success in this position to provide technical guidance to supervisors, operators, and subcontractors regarding project specifications and expectations, addressing any client inquiries promptly.

The role includes leading a small team, conducting frequent on-site inspections, audits, and verifying construction methods for compliance with our standards.

The successful applicant will collaborate closely with site supervisors and operators to handle corrective actions, reports, and documentation efficiently. With effective communication being vital within our tight-knit team, this individual must be capable of conveying design methodologies to operators and client representatives.

Key requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
  • Experience in complex Civil earthworks projects
  • Familiarity with rock walls, land reclamation, and ground improvement is advantageous
  • Proficiency in Office 365, MS Project Manager, Civilpro
  • Valid driver's license
