Remuneration: Level 5 position ($82,818 - $93, % Superannuation)
Location: Kensington, NSW
Working Arrangement: Hybrid Flexible Working available with a requirement of 2 days a week on campus.
Why Your Role MattersThe Faculty of Engineering is seeking two General Administrators to provide effective day-to-day administrative and facilities support within the Faculty of Engineering. The role of General Administrator reports to the Schools Manager and supports the General Administrator Team Lead. The role has nil direct reports.
Accountabilities:Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Provide high level administrative support to the School and other nominated teams.
- Act as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Undertake School and/or Faculty reception duties, including face-to-face inquiries.
- Develop and maintain detailed filing systems, spreadsheets, databases, websites, and other administrative systems.
- Coordinate School Meetings/events.
- Assist with recruitment processes.
- Review and monitor finance administration requests.
To be considered, you will need to:
- Hold Australian Working Rights or Australian Citizenship.
- Possess relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent competence.
- Demonstrate advanced time management and problem-solving skills.
- Have experience in administrative, facilities, procurement, or store activities.
- Show proficiency in computer literacy and Microsoft Office applications.
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
