About the Role
An exciting opportunity to join a Global Industry Leader in logistics. FedEx Express Eagle Farm is seeking an Operation's Supervisor, to lead and manage the team to deliver service excellence

Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily supervisory support to direct and functional reports
  • Manages daily completion of team tasks as well as delegated first level employee related activities, as defined by local policies (including performance monitoring/management and development discussions, employee related administration, supporting initial/informal disciplinary action activities).
  • Performs or coordinates audits and reviews of existing processes or documentation to ensure appropriate standards and rules are applied.
  • Handles escalated, complex or high impact customer issues as they arise
  • Participates in/leads continuous improvement opportunities within department.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in a team leader/supervisory role within the supply chain, manufacturing, transport, logistics, or warehousing environment
  • Knowledge and experience in effective training, coaching, and people management practices, including leadership development
  • Previous allround management experience is highly advantageous
