A bit about the role


As an Irrigation Team Member, you will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of small and medium plant, tools and equipment related to general irrigation maintenance and repairs in the management of efficient irrigation systems.


Other tasks will include

  • General maintenance and repairs in passive and active open space irrigation
  • Acting on or reporting observed situations requiring maintenance attention
  • Ensuring relevant use of personal safety clothing and equipment
  • Ensuring that works are undertaken and maintained in a safe manner to both employees and public as per governing standards including quality and health and safety guidelines
  • Undertaking work with the minimum of inconvenience and disruption to the public

What you'll bring

  • Certificate in Turf Management/Irrigation or Plumbing, with industry experience
  • Demonstrated ability in the use maintenance tools, equipment, small, medium or heavy plant and practices
  • Welldeveloped interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written, including experience in a customer service environment
  • Basic skills in managing time, planning and organising own work
  • Ability to follow instructions and work within a team environment to meet agreed productivity and quality standards
