Working as part of the portfolio management team, you will be involved in the responsibility of ETF performance outcomes and related investment strategies with a core responsibility in trade execution.

As a key contributor to the team, you will be providing input into the outcome of several funds and strategies.

Your data analysis and modelling contributions will add immense value to the success of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execution of client flow or rebalancing trade orders in equities, derivatives and foreign exchange,
  • Measuring and reporting on trade efficiency,
  • Develop enhancements to trading and risk reporting workflows,
  • Analysing, monitoring and reporting portfolio risk contributions,
  • Monitoring market making activities for listed funds and generation of relevant fund composition data for market makers AND
  • Assisting the business as needed with internal data reporting and adhoc tasks.

Key Requirements:

  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline e.g., physics, maths, finance, economics, computer science, software engineering or similar), and postgraduate degree, CFA, and/or similar professional qualification preferred,
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in asset management, index/portfolio trading, risk management,
  • Understanding of the trade lifecycle for equities, futures and ideally FX,
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with meticulous attention to detail to calculate and interpret portfolio management and risk measurements,
  • Advanced programming skills (preferably in VBA / Python / C++ / C# / Java) desirable AND
  • Experience working with Bloomberg L.P., Bloomberg API library, and MSCI Barra desirable.
