Job Description:

Our Family:

  • Our family includes both Mum and Dad, along with two energetic boys aged 7 and 8, who keep us on our toes. Juggling fulltime jobs in the city, we're seeking some help to carve out more quality time in the evenings with the family, which should also give us more time back on the weekends. Note that we're currently in a very small house in Wembley Downs while we wait for our new house to be finished in Jolimont. We should be moving back to Jolimont in May/June this year.

Your Duties:

  • Hours are 7am to 2:30pm on Tuesdays & Wednesdays and 7am to 6pm on Thursdays

Responsibilities include:
Kids Support - Assist with breakfast, lunchboxes, dressing, teeth/hair brushing, and packing school bags. - Safely transport the kids to school, ensuring timely arrival. - Pick up the kids from school on Thursdays at 3:00 pm and transport them to after-school activities. (Driver's license required) Groceries & Meals - Review meal plans, check household consumables, and develop a shopping list. - Visit the grocery store to keep the kitchen well-stocked. - Prepare and/or cook meals, leaving the kitchen in order.

Housekeeping - Tidy, organize, and manage clutter in all areas of the house and outdoors - including inside cupboards, fridges, closets, play and living areas, etc.

- Manage all aspects of clothes and linen care, including washing, drying, folding, and putting away for both kids and adults.

- Dust furniture, appliances, windows, doors, blinds, shutters, lights, switches, etc.

Note that we envision this as a longterm, ongoing position for many years until the kids either pick up their slack (unlikely soon) or move out which ever comes first
