As the State Transport Manager for DHL, you will be responsible for all transport operations and assets for Victoria. You will overcome daily logístical challenges to ensure operations run smoothly.

  • Oversee and manage the daily operational requirements across Victoria
  • Supervise the road transport fleet (including carton, pallet and line haul) to ensure SLA's are met across all shifts
  • Ability to meet time sensitive deadlines
  • Lead and develop a motivated team with a focus on succession planning

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • An in-depth understanding of Transport Operations
  • Proven track record in transport routing efficiencies (pallet, carton & line haul)
  • Strong understanding of the Australian road transport network and distribution channels
  • An analytical nature and process driven personality with a keen sense of urgency
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a drive for continuous improvement & safety
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of WHS, IR, & COR within a transport environment
