YOUR ROLE


The Transport Fleet Allocator in our Ground Transport division is responsible for the day to day planning of deliveries on the local and regional PUD fleet within the scope of responsibility (usually state-based), ensuring effective utilisation of both CEVA sub-contractors and contract carriers, against customer and statutory requirements.


WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Specifically, you will:

  • Plan and manifest the timely and efficient delivery of freight to ensure DIFOT and cost management targets are achieved
  • Book additional adhoc transport as required
  • Ensure the dispatching depot is provided manifests and appropriate paperwork
  • Liaise with depot supervisors and team leaders to ensure timely loading of PUD vehicles
  • Ensure all incidents, hazards and noncompliances are reported and corrective actions implemented in a timely manner
  • Investigate and resolve service and/or operational issues in a timely manner
  • Ensure runs are compliant with all statutory and company requirements, including but not limited to driver fatigue and load restraint
  • Ensure critical processes are completed in our Transport Management System within required timeframes.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems, know when to seek advice, suggest solutions or escalate as required
