  • Central Coast Local have an exciting opportunity for the position of Manager, Clinical Engineering who will be responsible for leading the Clinical Engineering team. This position is responsible for the overall vision, strategic planning, implementation, reporting and performance to budget of the service. The Manager Clinical Engineering is responsive to technological change and external regulatory framework. The Manager is responsible for assisting with the development and ongoing management of the medical equipment replacement planning process for Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD).

About You

  • You have demonstrated experience working with Medical Equipment, Australian Standards and Regulations, relevant to Biomedical Equipment for all aspects of patient care.
  • You have demonstrated effective leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate a team to achieve the delivery of operational/business plans and key performance indicator.
  • Relevant degree in engineering in a discipline relevant to Biomedical Engineering which is recognised for membership of Engineers Australia and demonstrated experience as a leader in biomedical engineering in a health care, laboratory or similar environment

Where You'll Be Working

  • The position is based at Gosford Hospital however you may be required to travel to other facilities within the District
