As Category Manager Breakfast you're responsible for developing the Breakfast category & customer strategy for our Growth Channels (Independent, Specialty, Discounter & eCommerce), whilst also being accountable for the creation, delivery and execution of the 5P's.

Partnering cross functionally across our business (Account Management, Marketing, R&D) you will help unlock opportunity within these channels.

You will do this via the generation of channel, category & shopper insights that will assist in creating a strategy for growth for us to execute on.

Play a key role in defining success and results in this channel which will in turn provide a springboard for further career development opportunities

Key responsibilities include:
_**- Generate channel, category and shopper insights in order to create a strategy that drives the activities required for growth across our Growth Channels

  • Aligning our Customer and Kellogg category visions, growth drivers, strategies to win, objectives and success metrics (volume, $, share and profit)
  • RGM lead for cereal in Growth Channels which includes trade/promotional strategy, execution, adherence and investment rate by customer/brand
  • Supporting the range reviews and planning day in partnership with the relevant National Business Managers and key stakeholders, externalising strategic direction on range reviews and planning days
  • Involvement in Categoryrelated strategic projects
  • Involvement in commercial innovation projects
This is a pivotal and high-profile role in our business.

To get the balance right, we're looking for a highly Commercial individual with experience within Category Management or Account Management from the FMCG industry.

Someone who understands the mechanics behind price who can also think strategically and play a role in driving category thought leadership to realise future growth ambitions.

Your communication and presentation skills will be second to none with the ability to present cases persuasively. Someone who can build and sustain strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders to ensure we're creating win/win outcomes.
