National Communication Manager

We are on the lookout for a National Communications Manager to spearhead our communications and marketing efforts. Reporting to the Executive General Manager Shared Services, Your duties will be to:

  • Develop Strategic Communications: Craft and execute communication strategies that align with our business goals and enhance our brand.
  • Manage Media Relations: Handle media inquiries with finesse and oversee our industry awards strategy.
  • Lead Content Creation: Direct a talented team to produce compelling content for our internal platform, corporate website, and social media channels.
  • Engage with Leadership: Work closely with senior management to support key business initiatives and maintain our status as 'the best people to work with'.
  • Support Compliance Management: Play a key role in communication needs resulting from any crisis managemetn response and/or public notice requirement

What you're good at:

Apart from having a bachelor's degree in communications, English, Journalism, Literature, Marketing, or related fields. You should possess:

  • Strategic and Creative Mind: With at least 10 years of experience in communication and/or marketing, you're ready to think outside the box.
  • Excellent Communicator: Your writing and proofreading skills are top-notch, and you have a knack for creating engaging content.
  • Detail-Oriented: You have a keen eye for detail and can juggle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Team Player: You're approachable and can work with employees at all levels.
  • Cultural Champion: Passionate about company culture, you use storytelling to drive initiatives.
  • Possess a love for exclamation points and puns, as well as exposure in the Adobe Creative Suite are a plus
