With an abundance of work flowing through the door, our client is seeking an Accounts superstar who loves building relationships and taking control of collections.

The past 12 months have seen an exceptional level of expansion across the business, and as such they need an extra pair of hands to assistant the finance manager (who is lovely) across a number of areas including chasing up outstanding payments.


This is a newly created role within the business and will be pivotal in ensuring that the finance department operates like a well oiled machine.


What will the role involve?


Working within a tight-knit and dynamic team of 30 (and rapidly rising) there is always plenty to be done when operating in a growing business of this size, however there are some fundamental elements that you will specifically take control of...


  • Building on, and growing positive relationships with debtors to collect payments (this will be a large focus of the role for the first 6 months)
  • Maintaining and organising client accounts
  • Updating the CRM (WorkflowMax) to track and update the AR progress of all jobs
  • Running weekly and monthly reports through Xero, WorkflowMax and Excel
  • Liaising with external accountants when required
  • Creating strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders in particular the consultants and in turn offering specific financial information regarding their job orders
  • Working on other finance responsibilities in collaboration with the finance manager

What are the superstar requirements?
You are a whizz with numbers and have a huge amount of drive to succeed. You work hard, take pride in creating results, and have outstanding communication skills (you'll be talking to


Experience in accounts receivable and accounting software are essential (Xero would be advantageous) and you will need to be a ninja with MS Excel.

You love a slick spreadsheet, clean/modern systems and are a systematic, methodical worker.
