THE FIRM

This boutique law firm based in Waterloo are currently seeking a motivated secretary with a desire to move to the legal industry or someone with experience in the legal industry to support their personal injury team.

You will be helping support in a range of Workers compensation matters, with a focus on securing the best result for the Plaintiff.


THE ROLE
You will be reporting to the Managing Director at the firm.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and processing legal documents
  • Preparing briefs
  • Schedule medical appointments
  • Liaising with clients
  • Typing dictations
  • Monthly Billing
  • Ad hoc secretarial duties

ABOUT YOU

  • You will need to a motivated, organised person who is ready to take on their next challenge
  • Corporate Administration experience ideally within Legal
  • Confidence liaising with clients, lawyers and senior staff members
  • Strong attention to detail, along with exceptional organisational skills
  • Competent time management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
  • Strong MS Office skills
