The Technology Head of Department is responsible for the quality of curriculum, teaching, learning and student outcomes in the Technology faculty.
The HOD leads the development of positive relationships within the faculty, oversees student behaviour and develops staff capability.Through the productive management of resources, he/she contributes to effective school operations to ensure high performance and is a leader in maintaining and developing a positive school culture and nurturing wellbeing.
The HOD is also responsible for supporting teacher development observation and feedback processes and programs across the school.As the Head of Department, you will:
- lead curriculum focus in line with school and departmental initiatives
- develop the quality of teaching and learning
- nurture positive relationships between students, teachers and stakeholders.
The Head of Department is accountable to and under the direction of the Principal or delegate.

How to Apply
- A maximum two page CV; and
- A one page written statement in response to Key Capabilities 1 and 2 only.
- Demonstrated teaching competence and capacity to provide curriculum leadership in the area of special education leading to the achievement of quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to develop and sustain productive relationships within and beyond the school community.
