  • To support our success, we are currently seeking a Procurement Expeditor, with a focus on vendor data expediting, to join the Sedgman Procurement team in Perth.
  • The key objective of this role is to support the control and direction of the procurement function with assisting with all correspondence relating to vendor data, including following up on material acquisition, production progress and shipment to site.

This role will involve although not be limited to:

  • Assist with the coordination and expediting of vendor deliverables
  • Followup on technical queries from vendors with the Sedgman engineering team.
  • Monitor and report to the procurement/design manager, any changes to the scope of works for all contract packages within a project.
  • Monitor and report procurement activity progress
  • Assist with compiling relevant information for client invoicing.
  • Assist with certification of vendor payments to ensure these are processed in accordance with the terms of the contract.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience in vendor data expediting role preferred but not necessary.
  • Ideally experience in document control or project administration in a project environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong administration and organisation skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to work with various stakeholders, engineering team and vendors
