Dreamworld, Australia's favourite family theme park dedicated to 'FUN' and SkyPoint, one of the Gold Coast's most iconic visitor attractions located atop the Q1 Building in Surfers Paradise seek to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Security Officer to join our team.
The role of a Security Officer is to provide maximum security and safety for all persons and assets within Dreamworld, WhiteWater World and SkyPoint.
We seek friendly, customer focused security professionals with a 'can-do' approach who will thrive in our 'FUN' and unique environment, whilst proactively responding to a variety of situations as they arise.
To be successful, an approachable and outgoing personality is essential, along with a
current driver's licence, first aid certificate, security & crowd controllers licence, control room monitoring certificate, cash in transit certificate plus a current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to meet the below criteria:
- Have exceptional communication skills;
- Be approachable and outgoing;
- Have technical proficiency with using computer based systems;
- Ability to work efficiently whilst under pressure;
- Exceptional presentation standards;
- Previous Security experience is essential; and
- Availability to work a range of shifts across a 24/7 roster
This is a physically demanding role, therefore a high level of energy and physical fitness are required to perform duties.
