About the role

Estia Health Leopold has 225 beds, it's a welcoming single-level home in a residential suburb of Geelong. The home is well established for providing top-quality care.

You will assist the Residential Aged Care Manager in managing the home, focusing on advanced clinical and holistic care. Each day brings new challenges in this dynamic role. One day you may oversee AN-ACC documentation, and the next provide clinical leadership and education to staff. Your responsibilities include:

  • Promote a resident-centered culture that values compassion and dignity
  • Ensure residents' rights and concerns are addressed promptly
  • Coordinate continuous improvement activities for resident care
  • Support compliance with policy and regulatory standards
  • Analyze clinical audit results to improve care delivery
  • Act as the Manager in their absence

The traits for success

  • Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration
  • Minimum 3 years' nursing management experience
  • Strong management and leadership skills
  • Case Management experience
  • Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to change
